Two weeks ago I started a new weekly blog series on What I found PINTERESTing this week on Pinterest. If you missed it, you can read more about it here and here. This week’s post is a little different. On my Food Board a friend & I actually made all the food we pinned below! And it was all DELICIOUS! Talk about stretching yourself, this type of cooking really stretches me, but Ida is an amazing cook and she definitely stretches me to make new things.
1. On my Jesus + Verses + Scripture board this is what encouraged my heart and soul this week. With it being Good Friday and Easter, I have a few of my favorites below. If you click on the image, it will take you to Pinterest to find the original source or follow my board here.
2. On my Great Books board I want to share this great book, Nephilim The Remnants, just in case if you haven’t heard of it yet. The author shares about some of the hidden Easter eggs in the book. Such a good post, if you are interested in Christian fantasy fiction.
3. On my Food board I pinned a lot this past weekend. A friend and I have been getting together weekly to cook and try something new, and Pinterest has been our go-to for new food recipes, especially since we are trying Trim Healthy Mama recipes. Each recipe below we cooked and created. This is way out of my comfort zone making three new things in one day…ahhh! BUT, since my friend Ida got all the ideas together and spear-headed this cooking night, I went with it. And I am so glad I did, everything was so yummy! Thanks Ida Belle Michelle for cooking with me, what a blast we had.
The biggest surprise to me was how delicious the Whole Roasted Cauliflower tasted – so good!
The Oven Fajitas were a big hit for everyone. My older child loved it so much he went back for seconds.
The Sugar Free Berry & Lemon Curd Pavlovas was divine! It tasted amazing! I was most surprised seeing Ida making the meringue part of the dessert. What a neat process. Best part: it was sugar free and tasted delicious!
Here are a few photos of what we made on our Cooking Night. Here’s to trying new things!
